Susan Morses expertise in the design and manufacture
of optical and electro-optical systems is founded on an
extensive education in electrical and optical engineering
and years of work experience in the defense industry,
including signal processing and solid state laser material
research. Susan came to the firm from Digital Optics Corporation,
where she served as Chief Intellectual Property Counsel,
and was responsible for handling all intellectual property
issues, including worldwide patent portfolio management,
patent acquisition, and licensing. Susan started her patent
career as an U.S. patent examiner in waveguides, lasers
and nonlinear optics, and she also spent numerous years
doing patent prosecution, opinion writing and litigation
in a law firm environment.
